Conference Attire
Dress for the conference is business casual except for the Thursday night banquet which is business attire and the Friday evening events which are casual.
Travel for 2010 Conference
AIRPORT: Plan to fly into Charlotte International Airport which is located about 20 minutes from the conference site, the Westin Charlotte as well as our other conference hotels.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE DATES: Though morning travel on Thursday April 8th is an option, consider the optional Thursday morning events before you make your travel arrangements. It is suggested that you arrive anytime on Wednesday April 7 (registration, technology labs and exhibits are open then; plan to depart on Saturday April 10 after 2:30 pm unless you are able to stay for some extra sightseeing time. Conference ends by noon. NOTE: If you sign up for the Capital Development Workshop on Wednesday, April 7 unless you are driving you will need to arrive the night before so make hotel and air travel arrangements accordingly.
TAXIS/SHUTTLES: Taxis and a shuttle service are available to our downtown Charlotte hotels. One way taxi fare is approximately $25. The Queen Transportation Shuttle offers a NAYDO rate of $19 one way or $34 round trip; to obtain that rate it is necessary to call the shuttle company at 704-752-9858 upon your arrival at the airport and mention NAYDO.
PARKING: The daily cost for self-parking at the Westin Charlotte is $15 or $20 for valet. In and out privileges will be activated by the front desk upon your request. The daily cost for self-parking at the Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City is $14 or $18 for valet with in and out privileges.

The Westin Charlotte offers a premier Center City location in the heart of downtown Charlotte near the area's bustling entertainment district, museums, historic sites and a wide variety of restaurants. Though one of the largest hotels in Charlotte, it contains 600 rooms which means attendees will have to utilize other NAYDO conference hotels as well.

NAYDO has 200 rooms at this hotel so you will have plenty of other attendees with you at this top of the line Holiday Inn property. Complimentary high-speed internet access and a lower room rate than the headquarters hotel makes this an appealing alternative. The best part is that it is within walking distance but either a trolley or a light rail system can drop you off directly in NAYDO's meeting space at the Westin if you prefer.
